As I move through the constant stream of fresh content, I slip into a passive state of objecthood—both overstimulated and numbed. I experience time passing, the world shifting, yet remain disconnected from any sense of control. Caught in a state of waiting and inertia, I find myself suspended in an in-between space of identity.
This condition manifests in my work through ambient acts within video game environments—actions that are layered, looped, and molded into themselves. These scenes reflect a lack of interaction, charting a slow transformation from personhood to objecthood. The figure, barely discernible, is veiled by the micromovements of the digital landscape. The avatar, once a stand-in for my identity, becomes obscured as it lingers in a liminal state—idle, awaiting input.
My work becomes a form of quiet documentation—an endurance piece. It reflects a body suspended in time, enduring the unrelenting flux of both digital and physical environments. It’s an exploration of what it means to wait, to fade, and to be transformed by stillness.
